Quality & credits

Bulin 47 480p vs 720p vs 1080p: choose a quality without wasting credits

Quick answer

A decision guide for output size, first attempts and the real cost of generating another version.

Before you begin

  • 480p costs 20 credits, 720p costs 45 and 1080p costs 80 for each new generation.
  • A higher resolution addresses output size, not hidden facial detail or lip-sync.
  • A 480p attempt followed by 720p costs 65 credits; it is not a 25-credit upgrade.

Choose 480p when you want the lowest-cost attempt, 720p when its requested output size suits your use, and 1080p when you have a reason to need a larger file. Do not choose a higher tier simply because the face looks wrong: resolution, likeness and motion stability are separate questions.

All three choices request a new 15-second, 9:16 video inspired by the Bulin 47 reference, using your photo as the main-character reference. Resolution changes output size and credit cost; it is not a control for copying source frames or guaranteeing exact dance timing.

Decide what problem you are trying to solve

Your situationA useful next decision
You have never tried this portrait and want to assess the overall fitConsider one 480p attempt for 20 credits
You already know the intended size and prefer to avoid a separate testChoose that resolution directly, after checking the photo
The finished face is blurred even in still momentsRecheck the original portrait before spending more on resolution
The face is recognizable but the file looks too small in your intended layoutConsider a larger requested output for a new generation
The video is black in the browser or has no expected soundDiagnose playback or audio; another high-resolution task may not address it

View the actual download at the size you plan to use. Enlarging every clip to fill a desktop monitor can exaggerate differences that are less relevant in a small message or phone layout. Conversely, a result intended for a larger edit may justify more output pixels. There is no single tier that is best for everyone.

If the issue is shadow, sunglasses or a tiny face in the input, start with the photo selection guide. AI cannot reliably recover features your photograph does not show.

Compare the cost of each new generation

Requested resolutionCreditsCompared with 480p
480p20Baseline
720p452.25 times the credits
1080p804 times the credits

The difference between a single 480p and 720p choice is 25 credits; between 720p and 1080p it is 35. Those differences help you choose before submitting. They are not an upgrade price for a video already generated.

For example, generating 480p and then requesting 720p costs 20 + 45 = 65 credits. Going straight to 720p costs 45. The lower-cost test can be useful when you have an unresolved photo question, but it is extra spending if you would request the next version regardless of the result.

Likewise, 480p followed by 1080p totals 100 credits. The second task creates a new video and can change the face, hands or timing; it does not promise a larger copy of the exact first result.

Work out what each one-time pack can cover

One-time packPriceOnly 480pOnly 720pOnly 1080p
50 creditsUS$9.902 tasks, 10 left1 task, 5 leftInsufficient for 1
105 creditsUS$19.905 tasks, 5 left2 tasks, 15 left1 task, 25 left
160 creditsUS$29.908 tasks, 0 left3 tasks, 25 left2 tasks, 0 left
Each of the three counts assumes all credits go to one resolution; the counts cannot be added together. Each video is 15 seconds, and unused credits remain.

These are arithmetic examples at the listed per-task costs, not a promise of successful or equally good videos. Packs do not automatically renew, and credits have no fixed expiry. Check your current balance, not just the pack you once purchased, before deciding what fits.

Some useful mixed plans:

  • 50 credits: one 720p task leaves 5, or two 480p tasks leave 10. It cannot cover a 480p test followed by 720p.
  • 105 credits: one 480p and one 1080p task use 100, leaving 5. Alternatively, two 720p tasks use 90, leaving 15.
  • 160 credits: one 1080p plus one 720p uses 125, leaving 35. That covers one further 480p task, leaving 15.

Checkout may be unavailable at a particular time. Review the pricing page and displayed availability before making a purchase. A larger balance is not a reason to generate variants you do not need.

A simple stop-or-revise rule

Before creating another version, write one sentence: “I need another attempt because …” If the answer is a concrete change, such as a clearer photo or a required output size, you can decide whether the cost is justified. If it is only “maybe it will be better,” save the current result and review it again first.

Keep an unchanged download of any version you like. When comparing attempts, change one major variable so you can understand the trade-off. Neither higher resolution nor another attempt guarantees perfect faces, stable bystanders or exact mouth timing.

If a task is still processing, wait for its recorded state rather than paying to repeat it. Failed-state tasks return consumed credits; cash refunds follow separate policy. The troubleshooting checklist covers the difference between a slow request and a failed task.

Common budget questions

Do credits expire or renew each month?

The current packs are one-time purchases, without automatic renewal or a fixed credit expiry. Review the current purchase screen for availability.

Can I keep the identical result and only request more pixels?

Do not assume that. A new generation is a separate attempt and may change visual details. Save the version you like before submitting another.

Is 1080p a fix for lip-sync?

No resolution choice guarantees that. Audio alignment and generated mouth motion need their own review; more pixels do not regenerate a mouth to match a different recording.

Choose your resolution in the generator after deciding the purpose and total budget for this attempt.
